 Sue’s serving in Michigan’s new 14th Senate District!

Following the 2020 Census and Michigan Independent Redistricting Commission’s process, Michigan’s new 14th Senate District was one of the most competitive in the state. The new SD-14 encompasses portions of both Washtenaw and Jackson Counties, including the northern half of Ann Arbor, all of the city of Jackson, and rural swaths of both counties. The new lines presented an opportunity for a strong, organized Democratic campaign and candidate with a clear, resonant message to flip this seat in 2022 — and Sue Shink did it! Democrats have been passing commonsense legislation for the people of Michigan delivering on promises made!
